22.-24th July 2010

Split 4 summer nights 4 dog shows

For the third time, we attended this show, this time only with our Diesel being shown and Logan being a visitor.
We got better and better results with every pasing day. On day 1., Diesel was Excellent.3, the second day she got res.CAC and finally, on the third she won her class and recieved CAC, res.CACIB so she started her Croatian Championship. Beside the shows, we had a great holiday, too! Pictures about it can be found in the gallery.

Diesel passed a successfull BH exam in Dombovar, with 81 points. We are starting the preparations for the next level. Unfortunately, we have only a few pictures, because it was raining and it was very cold, so we were happy to go home after the passed exam...

In the meantime, Bacca's offspring won some great titles in Bratislava. Teddy Bear of Forestry Farm CAC, CACIB and a qualification for the 2011 Cruft's! On the next day, his half brother Superstar of Forestry Farm won a CAC in Champion class and completed the conditions for the Slovakian Champion title! Again a big confrats to the Forestry Farm and Cili!

Merlin (Calm Before The Storm at Wendigo's Wind) showed his best again! This time he passed the IPO 1 exam, if I know it right, he is the only border collie with an IPO 1 exam in Hungary. We are very, very proud of him and his owner Leczki Saci!!!! We recieved two videos of Merlins work.
A: 70 points
B: 89 points
C: 84 points

Kapuvár CAC show.

Another successfull day for hour dogs! In junior bitch class, Bacca's daughter Candyfloss of Bron Yr Aur won HPJ, Monty (Getshemane at Wendigo's Wind) won CAC in intermedia class, Star (Superstar of Forestry Farm) won CAC in champion class and was also Best of Breed. In the BIS programe, Star and April Swan of Bron Yr Aur were third in Best Brace!

1st May 2010.

On the first of May, the 3rd "Dogafternoon" took place in Komló, this is a very cheerful, friendly dog meeting where dogs and owners can show their skills. We spent a great time and would like to thank Timi who planned and orginzed all this! 21 dog-owner pairs competed with each other, We took the FIRST PLACE with Fly, but the places 4-5-6 were also Wendigo's Wind borders - Dash, Roxette and Rafi. This year brought a new life for me and my kennel, a whole new world. This was the reason why we updated very frequently. We moved home from Croatia with the dogs, because I left my job and started a new one in Hungary. Two dogs were removed from the webpage. Chad flew to Finland, he has a wonerful new owner who is sending us lots of photos and videos we can share, too. Thank You!
Our goal with Nevons co-owner turned out differently, so Nevon will stay with her as he lived there since he came to Hungary and will traing agility. Of course, we are willing to give information about him anytime!
Jasmine moved away from us too, as our relationship with his owner broke up after 7 years and he took her with himself. :( We will keep her on our site, as she was part of the family for many years.

Packed up half of our pack and went off to Eger to the Breeding Exam. Mariann, the owner of Yankee, Lily and Niki, was my travel partner making it adventerous, as always... We got a flat tire so after a tire change and being fairly late, we arrived to the exam. After this happening, we caught Oskar Kis to make some photos of our dogs. We would like to thank him for the wonderfull work that can bee seen in our album!

Didn't happen at our kennel, but Dash (Dashing Daemon at Wendigo's Wind) being "our puppy", we are very happy together with Timi! Dash delivered a beutiful blue girl, named Aura Via, making a major surprise, because we thought she was not pregnant at all! Of Course, little Via will stay with her breeder as the part of her kennel.

13th February 2010.

At the end of January, we attended te anual ceremony of the British Pastoral Breed Club. Tha past year was also very succesfull for us, with loads of cups won by Baccas offspring, too. Congratulations to our friends at Forestry Farm kennel, especialy to Cecilia and Imre Friderics, the owners of Superstar of Forestry Farm on the huge resultes!

 

Bacca's offspring:
 
Superstar of Forestry Farm: Adult Club Star, and as the first HUngarian dog winning a Class at Cruft's, he won the Pentaboard Cup as the best Pastoral dof of the year! Congrats once again!
 
Teddy Bear of Forestry Farm: Managed to win both Youth and Adult Club Star titles in the same year!
 
Bacca: After the success of his offspring, he won the Club Start Studdog title!

Diesel: Being lightly shown, she won the points for the  Youth Club Star title in record time!

We wish all of our dear guests, our friends and all the owners of the Wendigo's Wind puppies a nicer, better, successful happy new year! I hope you will all keep sending photos and information of these dogs as we are curious about them all, how they develope and act on trials and shows or simply how they live as family pets. We will try to refresh our website even more times than we did last year, preferably the album as we receive plenty of photos of our puppies.
